26.06.20 — Note Identifier Now in the Practice Activity Hub

We've added a brand-new interactive tool to Stand Partner: Note Identifier, a note-reading quiz built for musicians of every level.

What it does

Note Identifier shows you a note on a real music staff and asks you to name it. Click the correct note name to advance, and the app immediately plays back the pitch so your ear stays in sync with your eye. Wrong guesses flash red so you learn fast — no penalty, just feedback.

Fully customizable

• Four clefs — Treble, Bass, Alto, and Tenor
• Adjustable range — narrow in on just the notes you're working on, or open it up to challenge yourself across the full staff, up to six ledger lines in either direction
• Sharps and flats — toggle accidentals on or off depending on where you are in your studies
• All settings save automatically and persist between sessions

Track your progress

A running score shows how many you've answered correctly out of your total attempts. Hit Reset at any time to start a fresh session.

Where to find it

Note Identifier lives inside the Practice Activity Hub, available to Pro! Student subscribers via the widget toolbar. Open the hub with the spinner icon, then tap the Note ID tab.
