2026.09.01 — New Invoicing by period and other new features

Sept. 1, 2026

Bill by Time Period

You can now send an invoice for a specific stretch of time, like "This Month" or "Last Month," instead of only being able to bill a student's full running balance.

  • Pick "This Month," "Last Month," "This Year," or your own custom dates.
  • Stand Partner adds up every charge and payment from that time period for you, so there's no manual math.
  • If the student had money owed or credit left over from before the period started, it's listed as its own line ("Previous balance") so the total always adds up clearly on the invoice.
  • If a student's credit already covers everything, the invoice shows $0.00 due and tells you how much credit remains on their account. You'll never accidentally send a bill for a negative amount.

Preview an Invoice Before You Send It

A new "Preview PDF" button lets you see exactly what your student or their family will receive, before you hit send.

Delete an Invoice

Made a mistake on an invoice? You can now delete it, as long as it hasn't been marked paid yet. To delete a paid invoice, just mark it unpaid first.

A Cleaner Invoice Design

Invoices sent from Stand Partner now have a cleaner, more professional look, with your studio's name front and center and payment instructions on their own page. And once an invoice is sent, viewing it later always shows exactly what your student originally received, even if your records have changed since.

See a Student's Balance While Sending an Invoice

When choosing who to bill, you'll now see how much each student owes (or how much credit they have) right in the list, so there are no surprises.

Upcoming Charges Now Show on the Student Balance Page

If you've scheduled a charge or payment for a future date, it now appears on the student's account balance page marked "Pending," so families can see what's coming instead of being caught off guard.

Jump Straight to a Lesson from a Transaction

Click the calendar icon next to any transaction tied to a lesson, and you'll be taken right to that lesson on your calendar.

Compare Two Practice Periods

On the studio practice stats page, a new "Compare two time periods" tool lets you pick any two date ranges (like this month vs. last month) and see practice hours, average days practiced, and average rating side by side.
